This project took Plunkett Railway Station located in Ferrybank, Waterford and created a scheme for the regeneration of both it and the surrounding area.
The building was carved and added to the connect the existing red brick buildings to the station. Extensive renovations and additions were carried out to the concrete building with restaraunts and a bar incorporated along with roof top gardens and an adventure area. The design aims to draw a new clientel into the building and breathe new life into a run down area. The protected red brick buildings are to be internally renovated to house the relocated offices.
Feel free to download a copy of the project booklet to get a more detailed look at the scheme.
