Have you left your Halloween decorating till the last minute and now the shelves are empty? Have a look below for some simple but creative ideas that are frightfully good!
1. Pumpkin Painting
Don't really feel like carving pumpkins this year.... try painting or decorating them with buttons, glitter, beads, pearls or even paper instead for something different (the kids will love this). Use different size pumpkins and place some on cake stands to add height to your display.
2. Black Bows
Buy some in expensive black dress making lining and use it to create an over sized bow for your mantle or hall table. Add a framed print (free download here) and some pumpkins, crows, spiders or bats.
3. Black and White Elegance
Replace your framed family photos with black and white creepy portraits readily available online. Simple search, print to desired size and pop in a frame. Add some candles, spiders, webs, skulls, crows or anything else spooky!
4. Witches Cloak Hooks
Grab a few witches hats, (maybe you have some from previous costumes) hang them on your coat rack or hook along with some black fabric or dress lining again and add a broom or two to create the below look.
